Would I have keyless entry?

Bought the car used last year, its a base model '99 with the exception of automatic door locks. Didnt come with a remote (didn't come with a stereo either so who knows), but short of getting one and trying to program it, is there any way to tell?

I'm still learning about this thing, I realized the other day that the back is completely dynomated :rolleyes:

If it doesnt have auto door locks, its not going to have keyless entry.

You can however add auto door locks easily, and you might as well add keyless entry while you're at it! :cool:

The stereo system has nothing to do with keyless entry..He could program it either way, stock or aftermarket..

go to a deler or call tell them your VIN and they can pull up every option on your car. thats how i found out i had keyless entry. also there is a code on the inside of the door but i forgot what it was. sorry maybe someone else knows.

Looking through the Tech Database, it seems that AU0 is the code for keyless entry. Could be wrong, though. ;)

It does have auto doorlocks. I just looked and no AU0 code on the door. As always, thanks for the help everyone [img]smile.gif[/img]
