Yesterday I was driving around and as i would accelerate at a constant speed but my speedometer would move and then stop and then jump and then finally get to the correct speed (45). I parked and turned my car off b/c I was at my doctors office, and when I got back into my car afterward it did not have any problem, execept it has been a little sluggish at accelerating since then.
2000 3.8l, new sparkplugs and wires, free ram air mod, seafoamed last weekend, new tires and allignment, just reach 70,000 miles.
So I am assuming that is going to cost a pretty penny right? Is it hard to replace the cluster my self if i had afterward the PCM reflashed and/or tuned?
what does the pcm have to do with the cluster? not sure it is your cluster to begin with if you claim your car is sluggish? maybe try some fuel injector cleaner
Correct me if im wrong but the PCM is what calibrates your cluster with you car, and the programing need to be changed in order to calibrate it with the cluster, and im not saying that the cluster is the problem of the acceleration to be sluggish.
Haven’t done anything on the Camaro, but put LEDs on my truck headlights . And my oil pressure sensor went out on the truck so going to fix that this...
