  • valve cover pcv-apporatus

is there a flow rate to measure on this apporatus thats is welded to the inside of our(3.4L) valve covers. its where the pcv gets its positive pressure.
bottom-line Question is :@ over 260thousand miles/ would this filter-of-some-sort need to be changed out(in otherwords replace the valve covers)?

There is not a filter, it's just an oil baffle so the the PCV valve does not pick up the oil that the rocker arms are slinging around. Bottom line, no need to replace the valve cover unless you just want new ones.
