I am highly considering a cam for my car. How does a cam effect gas mileage. Slightly better?, slightly worse? I mean the gas mileage was one of the reasons i got a v6.

Your fuel economy will always go down proportionally with pedal effort, and since you'll have more power at your foot you will likely see lower fuel economy due to passing people and such with your extremely fast V6
You can have a cammed V6 and still get good fuel economy, but you'll just need to drive it lightly so you don't suck the fuel! :cool:2002 5-spd NBM Camaro
