yeah, that's what I've heard other do too. I think Herb (April's Z) did the same thing

There is actaully an air bag fuse in the fuse panel. Pull out the fuse and the light will go out.

Which Grant GT did you go with? Pics please. I am thinking of changing mine. The airbags don't work anyway, which is why I knew how to get the light to turn off.

Also, I was just searching the Grant website and they do not show an installation kit for our cars. Didn't you need one? If so, what model number is the kit?

that doesn't work, I pulled that fuse out because I blew another fuse and needed that fuse size and then my airbag light came on because the fuse was pulled.

Best way to do it would be to pull the bulb out

It worked for mine. 1993 Firebird. When I bought it, the airbag light was on all the time. I pulled the fuse and the light went out. Maybe I got lucky.

maybe it is a 3.4 thing because I have a 97 with the 3.8l. They might have changed the wiring in the newer cars. Guess just try it and see if it works, not that hard to pull and put back in if needed

they dont sell a specific one for camaros-its listed under gm models- i think the part # is 9136 maybe-i can check for you and ill put up some pics of the wheel soon

if i pull the fuse then the pass side airbag wont work either right? anyone need an airbag out there? lol- hey also i need a 10 inch sub any type is ok as long as its not junk. im a bass head and just blew one of my tens today. let me know-im in lafayette indiana

the adaptor kit was listed in grants catalog as "1994-up except corvette" that was the only listing i found that covered my car. the kit worked ok but i had to ad a washer to make thinks fit right. check "APC" they have a specific one for the camaro-i believe they sell them at pep boys

Correct, the system will be disabled. But if you take out the passenger side airbag you will have a huge hole in the dash. :banana:
