My 98 3.8L Camaro is approaching 100k and since i've had it [since 68k] I've had to replace the ICU, 1 coil, and the thermostat. For other high mileage cars, what have you had to replace and around what mileage? What are typical/common problems with these cars mechanically?

coils, the gears in the headlight motors (for Firebirds only)
Dexcool making pretty gunk in your coolant system, causing you to need a flush regularly. Tranny mounts breaking.
That's all I can come up with, but there is a lot more.
