I will trust u.... while we're on the topic, are there any other mods a noob can do (such as pulleys) that can help increase power without seriously delving into the engine?
50hp dry shot NO2
and maybe some street slicks
aluminum drive shaft
dude nos on my 3.4 don't be ridiculous.....i'm talkin like easy almost bolt on stuff like CAI, Chips, Exhaust even....plz explain what aluminum driveshaft is and how it can help?
i read up on it, and realize what it is and why one piece aluminum is better than two, but how can that increase horses??
you must not understand why an Alum. DS is better than a 2-piece if you're still confused as to why it increases power.
Alum DS' are about half the weight of a 2-piece DS. Because it weighs less, the engine uses less power to turn it; it decreases parasitic loss in the drivetrain. A decrease in parasitic loss equals an increase in rwhp, while maintaining the same crank hp
well, before you hop on ebay and buy a "performance" chip, ask anyone on the first page of the timeslip database what type of chips they run
well he did say JET chip, and those will actually make a few adjustments thats why i didnt say anything about it. But any "chips" off of ebay are just ****
your only option is the jet chip since we're talking 3.4. there is no tuning for you unless you can ploy someone into taking alot of time to do it. there used to be a company that did it but afaik they dont anymore. the jet chips "eh" to me but seems the 3.4 guys who do have it like it.
best mod you can buy is lsd and gear imo when starting out.
current car- 95 Trans am- bolt ons, parked and collecting dust. why? because **** it
i'm planning on getting the stage 2 jet chip, by the way if i add NGK TR6 spark plugs, a Hypertech powerstat (160 degree), and an ASP underdrive pully, would that help a good deal? (for what seems to be a relatively low price for all of those)

the plugs and stat will do nothing, more maint. really
and the underdrive pullies will help a bit, dont expect killer performance.
hey don't make fun of the noob, figure it out in context... some gears use 2 tier and some have 3 tier or whatever it's called, u should know what that means
Hey everyone! I've been trying to remove my transmission for two days now! I need to replace the clutch. Only thing I've got left holding the transmission...
