I finally got myself a new crank position sensor and it will be here this week and what i need to know is there any tricks or info i need to know about putting in this sensor so i dont mess it up? any help is good thanks.....

nothing really special. your owners repair manual you bought tells you exactly how to replace it. :p

its just straight forward on replacing it2k2 camaro, K&N, SLP whisper lid, Konis, AEM, HP Tuners, Angel eyes/Halos, CF SS ram air hood, 4.10s, Zexel Torsen, UMI SFCs, CrossFire, BFGs, Gatorback, Catco, Flows, and TLC! DONT feed the Trolls!

I would say to do the relearn procedure
Do you know anyone with a Tech 2 or Hp Tuners or DHP?2k2 camaro, K&N, SLP whisper lid, Konis, AEM, HP Tuners, Angel eyes/Halos, CF SS ram air hood, 4.10s, Zexel Torsen, UMI SFCs, CrossFire, BFGs, Gatorback, Catco, Flows, and TLC! DONT feed the Trolls!

The Crankshaft Position System Variation Learn Procedure should be performed if any of the following conditions are true:
DTC P1336 is set.
The PCM has been replaced.
The engine has been replaced.
The crankshaft has been replaced.
The crankshaft harmonic balancer has been replaced.
The crankshaft position sensor has been replaced.

hmmm...true. I checked SI and there it is. I assumed our cars where lucky enough to not have to relearn. I have lost some faith in these repair manuals.
