hey guys i need some help on a couple probs with my 93 firebird. The first is that when i turn on my right blinker sometimes it just stays on and doesn't tick, i don't think the light is burnt out but let me know what you guys think of that fix. Secondly when i turn my windshield wipers to "off" they go into the "up" position and just stay there, they work fine when i'm using them but when i turn them off they stay up which obviously sucks when driving so i've been riding with them on all the time. Let me know if u guys know about these fixes. thanx

Re: help with 2 probs
suck it up & ge tthe shovel. blinker relays are cheap to replace, but I haven't looked into where the location is on these cars. on third gens it's under neath the dash, driver side by footwell.
for the wipers, well, get the tarp off first & then we'll talk ;)1978 Formula 461 in progress of being built

Re: help with 2 probs
if the lights are lighting up but not blinking, there is a part called a flasher that could be out.. its basically what cycles the lights on and off... usually located under the dash or in the fuse box.. cheap and easy to fix
as for the wipers.. thats an odd problem.. has it always done this or is this suddenly an issue? maybe someone beofre you replaced the wiper motor and didnt line things up properly..Phill

95 camaro... need money for turbo project...
94 S10 Blazer - winter beater - infinity system to be installed soon

\"The man who says it cant be done should not interrupt the man doing it...\"

Re: help with 2 probs
if the bulbs turn on, but dont blink, id start at teh flasher.. they only run like $3... if they do not turn on, its probably a bulb. when my front turn signal went out, it stopped the rear from working as well..
the wiper thing is strange.. how did this happen? yoiu mention snow.. were you trying to push snow off your windshield with the wipers? maybe one of hte linkages bent? ive never heard of that kinda problem, so its got me stumped.. good luck with that one and let us know what you find out.Phill

95 camaro... need money for turbo project...
94 S10 Blazer - winter beater - infinity system to be installed soon

\"The man who says it cant be done should not interrupt the man doing it...\"

front and rear are about equal in simpleness
I'd say the rears are easier though2k2 camaro, K&N, SLP whisper lid, Konis, AEM, HP Tuners, Angel eyes/Halos, CF SS ram air hood, 4.10s, Zexel Torsen, UMI SFCs, CrossFire, BFGs, Gatorback, Catco, Flows, and TLC! DONT feed the Trolls!

Re: help with 2 probs
For the blinker, if a bulb goes out, it'll not flash inside the car. It's the car's way of telling you a bulb's out :P It may also be your relay like others have said. As for the wipers, did you have the motors replaced lately? I've heard of the motors being put in upside down or something, and causing them to do that.~97 3.8L V6 Camaro~

Re: help with 2 probs
You have questions that can be answered by simply walking to your car and looking. You have been told, one of your bulbs is the more likely, the flasher 2nd. Open your hood and inspect the wipers. No one can diagnose such basic functions over the internet.
