Looking to put some fuel treatment and oil treatment in the car. I plan on doing the seafoam but not until this summer but I was wondering what everyone reccomends. I've heard Lucas is good but maybe there is a brand that you all have fell in love with.

waste of money. Just do seafoam and don't worry about the other crap for fuel and such.

If you want to clean your injectors take them out and clean them

I would but i live in an apartment complex and don't have much tools around here. How complicated is it to clean injectors. I've put cai's on vehicles... changed oil, flushed tanny fluid and coolant, and rebuilt a tranny, and put on new brakes and brake booster. I've never really messed with the engine much. So what i'm trying to say is what am i looking into when cleaning the injectors?

        Re: Fuel Treatment

GM Fuel System Treatment PLUS, P/N 88861011 (for U.S. ACDelco®, use P/N 88861013) added to a tank of fuel at each oil change. Also, use TOP TIER DETERGENT GASOLINE (Chevron, Conoco, Phillips 66, Shell, Entec Stations, MFA , 76, Somerset Oil, QuikTrip, and Kwik Trip in the U.S. and Chevron in Canada.

Do not put any treatments in your oil.

your looking at removing four bolts holding the rail down, some new o rings, qtips to clean them and maybe some wire if you want to put them to 12v source to open them and flush them. Some people remove alternator to make more room to work with as the engine bay is cramped

Do a search here, there was a guy awhile back that did a write up on it and before and after pics of his injectors
