    ALSO, my temp guage is off by like a bar, so when it's cold, its at the first bar.

        OK, so I'm thinking its a clogged cat. So any sugestions for what CAT that I can get TOMMOROW at a various parts store?

        It's 3" from cat back.

            and why are you thinking that? yes, a bad cat will cause this, but so will a bad fuel filter. id cut of the cat first, see if the problem goes away. you have to cut it off anyway. fuel filter = $20 and 10 minutes. well whatever you do keep us updated. hopefully you get it sorted out. TTT for ya too.

              alright, after watching the vid, just cut off the cat. my dad couldnt rev his that high the whole car would start bucking.

                They have exhaust backpressure testers that plug into the oxygen sensor ports, but it's probably easiest to remove the cat and see if it fixes it.

                  before you go chopping at the cat,

                  check the vacuum lines, im pretty this could cause it.

                  clogged/dirty fuel injectors can probally do it, try a bottle of injector cleaner fluid.

                  did you put dry gas in it yet?

                  fuel filter can probally cause it.

                  you said its not the plugs, or wires, or coil packs. hmm what about the EGR valve? can that mess stuff up?or pcv valve. ill try to think of something else. good luck .

                    My guess is the fuel filter it has 55k on it and 11 years old, im guessing its never been changed. Start cheap, its easy to change and less then 10 dollars.

                      why wouldnt it be the cat? if he put this stuff into his engine and it immediately started acting up afterwards, hows it the fuel filter? They block up over time. granted, thats something to do anyways, but i highly doubt that thats the problem. sea foam is an aggressive cleaning agent. If his engine had a lot of gunk in it, combined with a cat that already was on its way out, it coudla easily freed up enough carbon to clog the cat and cause the aforementioned problems. since you put the stuff in thru the vaccuum line, first verify that the line is on correct. The cat however can be taken off in like 30 mins with no cutting involved (if its the factory piece). lower the center cross member, unbolt the two bolts at the rear cat exhaust flange and pull the cat from the y-pipe. use plenty of PB blaster and you should be be able to get it off without tooo much hassle.
                      as far as some of the other crazy ideas mentioned that might cause this problem (pcv valve?!?!?!), instead of wasting your money changing stuff that could in no way cause your problem, spend $0 and take the cat off and see if your problem is solved.

                        ^ i looked in the manual "trouble shooting". just giving him other possible things. calm down. did you whatch the video? his rpm gauge is nuts, it drops down well past 900-1000 ( idle rpm) even hits 0 a few times , then stalls. i find it hard to belive a bad cat would cause that. im not saying its not possible, i have no idea. but it just doesnt seem like it would do all this.

                          That's what I would expect it to do. The cat gets clogged and causes a huge increase in backpressure, which tries to push the piston down on the exhaust stroke.

                          That could do it as well. Especially if there was all kinds of junk that got dislodged. I'd still go with cat, though.

                            loser, im not gettin aggitated... however, im tryin to help someone with actual answers based on experience, not guesses read from a book, using information that he gave and circumstances leading up to and after the problem. i still dont quite understand how a pcv valve could cause such a drastic change in teh performance of the automobile. Ive seen people run their cars for 150k miles and never change that thing, then when they finally did, it might have gotten them and extra 1 mpg and that was about it. not tryin to flame anyone here, just want to help a fellow member solve his problem as quickly and cheaply as possible, without him having to change half his car guessing at the correct solution...

                              Fuel Filter and PCV were replaced at 30k, its at 55k now.

                                camaroman1181 , sorry i kinda got mad, just sounded like you were flameing me a little. im only 15, so quite obviously your going to have more first hand experiance's. im just trying to help him too, yea i am just throwing things out in the air but at least im trying.

                                back on topic. will the car start now?i'd just cut the cat off and see. i thought if your cat was dead, you could just get it up to running temp. and then look at the cat, and it would glow red? i could have sworn i read that somewhere.
