Again Im having another problem, I pulled out onto the highway and for the fun of it I floored it and when I shifted my car backfired. I wanted to be sure that I wasnt maybe hearing things so I floored it again when I was at a stop light except this time the car kinda like studdered but when I shifted it didnt backfire. Well Last year around this exact time my MAF like stopped working and I replaced that, and I hope thats not the problem again(cause it feels like the same way it did when the MAF died). But it hasnt thrown any codes at me yet so I guess Im going to have to wait. I just hit 90k miles, and the last time the spark plugs were changed was at 55k miles. Could that be the problem?

          or richening out
          or misfiring
both could come from plug failure

Ok...Well....this is kinda pissing me off, I went to a local machanic and I was trying to explain to him what was going on and he told me to take him for a ride. Well I punch it and it doesnt hesitate or backfire or nothing, And I rode around like for a good 10 mins and it just wouldnt do anything that it was doing before. So now im really puzzled. Should I go ahead and replace the plugs and wires?
