Sometimes when I'm driving for a while, after about an hour, my car will have an extremely hard shift from first to second gear... i mean its a pretty hard shift for an automatic... And I can definitely feel a big difference from when the car is running normally... no codes come up for it but it just feels like a quick skip or a quick jerk into 2nd gear... any idea what causes this? I have the A4 00' Camaro

    Re: problem

clutch packs could be worn, drop the pan and check for metal shavings, a small amount is normal by the way, but a big pile would indicate trouble, then change the filter and fluid and see if that helps, sensor somewhere in the tranny may be going but i dont know much about e controlled tranny's just old shcool TH350's good luck with the problem :)

Your problem is the TCC valve in your transmission valve body is worn. Use the search function and search the posts. After reading them all you will know all that you need to know to fix the problem.
