  • Problems with tach and bad smell

Lasr week after alot of rain my right tail light went out. Tonight when i went to get in my car the tachometer was dead for about the first 5 minutes then it started kicking in. There is a weird smell like burning plastic from the motor and ever since i put the msd wires in it has been just a little harder to start up. The wires are all connected fine i have double checked. What could be the problem? It seems to always mess up after it sits for a few days or after rain. Is the tach most likely a loose oe bad connection?

Sounds like part of your harness got cooked, check both exhaust manifolds, and underhood wiring
