I am, for lack of a better term, pissed.
I fixed the misfire problem by replacing the previous owners' crap plugs/wires with brand new AC Delco plugs and wires a few months ago.
Just last week I had my entire cooling system flushed and had a faulty water pump replaced.
Most of the time the car is fine, but every once in a while the car will just turn over and not start. If I continue to turn it over it'll just do it forever. If I let it set there for 5-10 minutes it'll sometimes start, and it'll sometimes sound like it's "closer" to starting, but not actually start.
My battery died trying to start the car. I got someone to jump me, and it would still turn over but not start, so it's not the battery.
I'm guessing the obvious answer is "bad starter", but based on what I've already replaced, what could it be?
If it is a bad starter, how much will it probably be to replace it? As for now... my car is sitting dead in a parking lot 30 miles away...
Thanks...
