its perfectly normal to be half way. in the summer time mine will go up 3/4 of the way. it should stay around half way or a tad above it. you really dont need to buy a new water pump or anything. you should only be worried if it is going in the red or some where near itComment

As already said, verify your fan is turning on. Othewise, you should be fine.
The more important question is - a city? in Maine? where?? I never saw a city up there. :) (I lived in Lewiston/Auburn for 18 years.)Comment
