500 RPM idle is normal, but hmmm only when you make a turn?

Im thinking when you make a turn the battery moves around and it drags the ( - ) battery cable with it.

Double check all connection at the battery.

500 seems low, and turning prolly put more strain on it from the power steering pump.

I would say, its gotta have something to do with a loose battery cable.

That Tahoe's probably got a full V-8 and the idle at 500 rpm sounds low...that may be adding fuel to the fire. Thinking (or typing) out loud, I'd say that there is probably an electrical issue that is being enhanced by the lower RPM. You might give a call to a local GM dealer's service department and the Serice manager may be able to at least give you a target zone for the RPM at idle. At that point you may be able to decipher whether a trip to a shop may be necessary to set that idle higher. Till then, I would check the basic electricals to rule out anything that would be just a loose connection. Actually, a loose electical connection may explain the lower RPM.
Anybody else got any thoughts? Blessings.

Loose battery cable shouldn't cause it to stall out as the alternator is providing the electricity. If that's the case he would have trouble starting the vehicle as well. The battery is held down and even if it wasn't, turning at low speed would not move it and high speed should move it, but high speed turning is not stalling it out.
                Have that idle checked out.

                  1. from what he said, im thinking the power steering pump. he has the low idle, + when he turns at low speeds it would put more strain. kinda like a clutch with a manual, unless you give it gas the extra strain is gunna kill it.

                  or
