  • Photoblocker, a gimmick?

What do you guys think. I live in Charlotte and now they have speed cameras. Do any of you use this stuff? Does it actually work? www.invisibletag.com is where I've seen it.

It is probably illegal to deface (modify or paint) your license plate in any way in your state.

9 out of 10 times, crap like that doesn't work anyway.

Just get the covers that block your license plate if it is viewed at any angle but straight behind.

Anything is illegal, and its really not worth it. Maybe you can go thru a speed camera free-of-worry, but what happens when a cop gets behind you? You get a bigger fine.

My buddy has one on his SS (it's actually more of a blackout) and has never been bothered by the cops for it. You can't even see his plate in the daylight unless you are within about 10 feet of the car. I think they're stupid because it is one more offense to tack on if you get stopped.
