help!!

ok ive had this problem for a while my head lights pop up when i just want the parking lights on and when i turn the headlights off the passenger side headlight makes a grinding noise when it goes down for like 15 seconds the shuts off whats going on

GM put plastic gears in our head lights. It sounds like yours are striped. People either replace them with metal gears or flip them over to buy themselves some more time with the plactic gears.
