Does any one here run this 15,000 miles oil?

Does it really work or not?

They guarantee it for 15 K or 1 year. I'd run it, if my motor blows. They buy me a new one :D

I just put the 5000 mile stuff in the woman's pt, I will see how that goes. I run normal mobil one 5w30 and change it every 5k.

That stuff is really bulked up with additives to the point of not reaching the API "energy conserving" classification [meaning it's not built for gas mileage]. It's slightly thicker at operating temp and slightly more shear stable than regular Mobil 1. Not that that was a problem with regular mobil 1 to begin with, although regular M1 is on the "thin" side of the 30w scale...

The tricky part is no oil filter is going to last 15,000 miles and still be doing its job well. In all honesty, I'd run it with a good filter [wix, pureone, mobil1, k&n] for a 7,500 mile interval if everything is in good shape mechanically.

Of the used oil analysis I've seen so far at bobistheoilguy.com, nobody has dared to run it for 15,000 miles yet. I think I saw one with 8,000 miles and it was starting to wear out a little.

I'm running it now, but I won't give it 15k. I fugure it's a good oil for all the autocrossing and road racing in the Arizona desert heat I do. I'll prob change it a little after the oil light indicator goes off (4-5k typically), instead of the 3k I used to do.
