Needin Some help cause i cant figure out my problem
Ok plain and simple...When i take off getting all over it runs good, but when it gets close high rpms its almost like it bogs down and sound kinda like its missing...but sometimes when this happens it doenst bog down, the exauhst gets really rough soundin and it sounds like its missing. Ive put new plugs, new wires, new intake gasket, head gaskets, put the stock air system back on it and it still does it!!! After driving it so far the SES will trip. Computer reads 02 sensor and nothing else..i didnt think 02 woujld effect it like that? so can someone plesas tell me whats eup?

o2 sensors calculate your a/f ratio... send that calculation to your computer so that youll run the proper amount of a/f... i would change whichever bank it says is screwed up and if that doesnt help then i would try to ignition system.Comment

check fuel pressure, change fuel filter, check fuel pressure again? seems like its one of the few things that you havent been thru.
imho i dont think an o2 sensor could cause a motor to run that rough.
that or ignition. seems like theres been an awful lot of ignition faults on the boards lately. you guys need to stop wrapping those motors up to 6k...foggy headlights? wetsand... buff... WAX!!!

auto666 you should also check exhaust backpressure could have a clog
I dont have a cat, its been gone now for months.
I changed the fuel filter and it still does it 2. UGH....i jus wanna sell it sometimes. how could it be the ignition system and what would i need to do to fix it? any ideas?Comment
