Dropped Roller Tool down side panel hole

I was working on damping material for my rear side panel speakers and accidentally dropped the roller tool down the hole on the inside. Does anyone know of a way to somehow get this tool out of there? I think it is the cause of a mysterious rattling noise in my car. The tool fell farther then the length of my arm. I don't know if I have to drill a hole somewhere to get it out.

Most of the roller thing was wood. The roller was plastic, the handle is wood and only the roller insert thing was metal. I was thinking more like a clothes hanger, but afraid of dropping that down as well.
