  • Cost for these mod installs?

I've never taken my 93 3.4 to a shop before, so i don't exactly know the costs of any of these mods, just wondering if you guys can shed some light on what price i should expect for having them put on these mods, so i don't get ripped off

Everything listed here i have already purchased and just need installed...

    New Crankshaft pulley installed

    NGK spark plugs installed

    Accel Spark plug wires installed

    Flowmaster 80 series catback installed

    Catco High Flow Cat installed

    180 degree thermostat installed

Also, has anyone ever had a shop replace that annoying broken gear in their headlights? What did they charge for that? (i have the gear purchased)

I know half of you will start off by saying that I can do most of these by myself... but i am lazy, have money...and want it done correct (i'm a noob & everything i do tends to break other things) But if a price for one of the installs is really high, i will likely do it (or try to) myself. thanx all

And with a hourly rate of $70-$90, you're probably looking at $500 to $630

personally i think its a waste of money considering none of those are hard, just time consuming.

The plugs, plug wires, thermostat and crank pulley probably 2-3 hours labor, but I would do those myself.

I paid $80 to have my old exhaust cut out and new cat and cat-back welded on.

i would be lost with headers....

So what are the (2) easiest things to do on their that maybe now i will do myself... maybe thermostat and plugs? What would you guys say is the easiest to hardest in order since i've never tried any of these before.

Thermostat should take 30 minutes to do yourself. That is including not knowing how to do it, and taking a really really long time to do it. I could probably replace mine in 10 minutes.

then its settled! i will at least do the thermostat...it just seems like it would be hard because it's located right under the throttle body which makes it hard to get to

do the plugs and wires urself also, its not hard, just a BIG pain in the ***. our motors are pushed back.. duh... so it makes it hard, but its not impossible, if you have access to a lift it will make it even easier, my first time replacing my plugs took me like 1.5 hours, not too bad i guess.
