i installed a gatorback belt on my 97 camaro the other day and it has a loud wine to it. will this wear off or did i do something wrong ?

mine whined for a few hundred miles now its better. I will wait a little bit and see if it gets better. Pulleys were fine with the old belt. How can you determine if they are bad ? I doubt they are though.1997 Camaro LS1 RS

Gatorbacks do that. Mine still does it some times, and it's been on for at least 10k miles. It's just something to get used to2000 silver A4 Camaro<br />Whisper lid; Free Ram Air; BMR stb; MSD super conductor wires; Gatorback belt?<br />1986 RX-7 (daily driver)
