removing center console....

I need to take it off to clean and repair some shia in it. Whats the easiest way to do it? Take in mind its a '95. -Thanks

There is no easy way! I've had mine off a few times, that is one ***** to get off, and back on. As to do it, I couldn't tell you how, I just worked it until it finally came out.

EDIT: I had to turn it kinda like a 45* angle towards the steering wheel. I have a manual, and I would hate to imagine how hard it would be to get off an auto.

It really is a PITA do to. Just remember to remove the wires in the back for the cig. lighter, and remove all the lights that are on the console.
Dont take it off if you dont have to.
