I need to take it off to clean and repair some shia in it. Whats the easiest way to do it? Take in mind its a '95. -Thanks

There is no easy way! I've had mine off a few times, that is one ***** to get off, and back on. As to do it, I couldn't tell you how, I just worked it until it finally came out.
EDIT: I had to turn it kinda like a 45* angle towards the steering wheel. I have a manual, and I would hate to imagine how hard it would be to get off an auto.
