Have any of you seen an analog odo in a 97? I know both of my 97's have had digital displays, but CoasterKev06 has an analog. I called BS and put my foot right in my mouth cuz he proved it with pics
I thought he had mistaken the year of his car or something, but its definately a 97.
hmm, maybe a 96 odo. swap was done? my 97 and all the 97's I have seen had the digital. Also in the camaro books and dealer catalogs I have say it was the first year for the digital odo.
Thats interesting .......... hmmm......... shoot me the vin, so that i can check if there are any sort of odo rollback........ maybe it's one of those very first 97 that used the leftover 96 dash?
EDIT: allright, here's a 97+ dash http://s49.photobucket.com/albums/f2...t=DSC01984.jpg .........so it is a 97 dash with analog odo .........because i just remembered that pre 97 dash have yellow color instead of red ...........very strange ......... he should sell his car on ebay for like $50,000 ............ one of one ever made!
arggrh.....you made me type the vin ;) ............ carfax looks real clean .........http://www.carfax.com/cfm/FSBO.cfm?r...FX000014911426 ........... Deffinately weird!!! ....btw, did you register your car? .......you're not in the carfax????
I think he sent you a pic of a 96 odo just to mess with ya
i had a 96 and i pretty much remember the gauge letters uses white on black instead of red .......so it is a 97 dash! ........ i am at work ........i gotta go to my computer to post any of my 96s pic .........
Here's 96 dash http://images.channeladvisor.com/Sel...ages/B108B.jpg

here's a big ol pic to prove... if kala hasn't already...
showing the 97's new interior and the analog gauges... if y'all still think im messin by thinking i photoshopped it.. then go ahead cause i wish i could photoshop that good :naughty:
Oh. Heh, i dind't know that 97's were supposed to have digitol guages...Mine's a 97 and it's analog. It looks just like the pic of his analog guage cluster.
GASP!!! We have hacked camaros!!!??? It's a conspiracy I tell ya.
But seriously, I thought that analog was common place for the 97's. Well, just goes to show how little I know.
Notice CoasterKevs car was made in 1996. It might be that the 97 models that were produced in 1996 have analog odometers. What's the build date on yours runtwrestlin?
Haven’t done anything on the Camaro, but put LEDs on my truck headlights . And my oil pressure sensor went out on the truck so going to fix that this...
