    OK, I haven't posted here in a while so here I go again. I'll let you know some info about the car and see if it helps narrow down my very odd, and weird problem.

    Car is a 1994 chevy camaro 3.4 v6. Wires are Taylor, Plugs are bosch. EGR has been replaced, as well as the IAC, IAT, ECT, TCS sensors. I have replaced the fuel filter also. Car has maybe a year old catalytic converter and flowmaster muffler. I have had the car since 2000. I have put on maybe 15,000 miles on the car since I've had it. Car has 66,600 miles.

    The only major thing I have had done was back in December of 2000. I blew my head gasket and had to get them replaced. That was it though.

    My car has 2 problems, none of which I can seem to fix. I'll explain both problems.

    Problem #1: Morning hesitation. Or sometimes evening hesitation. Car starts up normal with no problems, but while I'm driving or I come to a stop the idle of the car sorta surges a few hundred RPMs. I seem to notice it more if I have to tap the brakes to stop, then it starts to surge. I don't seem like there is a loss of power or anything. Just sometimes it surges funny.

    Problem #2: Hard starts. Sometimes, and very randomly will my car not turn over. I will turn the key over and all the electronics come on but the car doesn't. After turning the key a few times it will start up. When the car does this, it seems like I loose a lot of power. The car feels very sluggish. Very slow to respond to the gas pedal. The car seems to wait until about 2k rpm's before I can feel the car picking up any sort of speed. This happens until I shut the car off and turn it back on, and then this "limp" mode seems to go away.

    Now for what it's worth, my security light stays on all the time, yet my car starts and drives 95% of the time. This has been with the car since day 1 of me getting it. I have never gone into detail to figure out why the light is on, but that may have something to do with the car feeling like it is in "limp" mode.

    I also get bad gas milage. I am lucky to get 200 miles per tank on 89 octane. I don't have a lead foot at all. All the driving is done in city traffic. I usually get between 160 and 180, and 200 is with the needle on the E.

    I'd like to keep my camaro and have it in better running condition. Please let me know what you guys think could be the problem.

    Taken it to auto zone and have them check for codes.

      There are no codes being introduced. I have an autoxray scanner and have scanned it before for SES light problems. The car is giving off no codes.

        my car did the same for the problem #1,when I start to brake the rpms would go down too.after that my starter died so I had to replace it and now its fine.or maybe your battery is bad

          I'd take it to the dealership and have them put thier scanner on and drive it around and have them watch for abnormalities. If you know anyone around you that has an autotap you could use that and look for the abnormalities on that and it wouln't cost you. As for the problems

          #1 could be something with your charging system.

            Well, There's your problem :D . I don't know, sounds like you have some kind of electrical problem.

              Problem #2 is your ignition cylinder. I had this problem for about a year since 2001 and then fixed it last summer. The problem sorta came back to me though but now it works 95% of the time and no light turns on, only when I turn the key a little fast the security stays on and the car doesnt start.
              Buy an ignition cylinder and new keys from the dealership and get someoen to take apart the steering wheel and replace your old ignition cylinder, problem fixed. If you get the dealer to do it, it will cost you $490. If you do it yourself its $55 for cylinder, $70 for two keys, and maybe a small tip or something to your mechanic.
