    i need a new sideview drivers side mirror because mine is cracked and you cant adjust it (its manual.) but i need it by the 29th so that i can pass the state inspection. does anyone know where i would be able to get this mirror online? i've already tried ebay, and advance auto parts said that they couldnt get one for a couple weeks. thanks.

    i got mine at a windshild / glass repair shop. paid 28.00 dollars and they intalled it.

      yeah... since you are on the east coast, there is a place outside of philly that is primarily an f-body and corvette junkyard.. they have sooo much stuff for our cars. on ebay, their user name is fparts htey have a web site too i believe. if all else fails, go on ebay and write a question about one of thier auctions about whether or not they have your mirror. you should hear back shortly. good luck man...

        I have the same problem with my car but what I wanna know is it replaceable and how do I go about doing this or do I just buy the mirror and put it over the existing cracked one

          no you dont put the new one over the cracked one. The glass is just held on by glue or silicone. The glass is all you replace. If you go to a windshild shop they will put the new one on for you, but the will put tape over it till the glue can fully dry. The next day you simply pull the tape off. I went to Binswanger Glass of SW Houston tx. If you do it yourself you can just take a small screwdriver or something and pull the glass of its backing.
