• brighter headlights on a 2000 Firebird

i posted this in the appearance section, but i'm not getting too many responces

    hey guys........
i see alot on here about how to take the bulb portion out of the back of the sealed light assembly and replace it with a brighter bulb. Everything i've read though, that's only been for the pre 98 F-body. Is there bulb #'s that are compatible with the 98-current Firebird? Both fog and hi/low beams for the head lights? I like the blue ones too...but my heart isn't set on it. just as long as they are brighter. my goal here is visibility, so i want to have the highest wattage my car's wiring will support, and with out spending a small fortune. i know that there's the kits, however kits = $$. i saw on here a way to seperate the sealed bulb and replace the actual bulb element of the light with a brighter one...but that was on like a 94 camaro.
here's the link i saw it at:

i was just wondering if i could do the same mod to my 2000 firebird. if the bulbs were the same...and if the new bulbs would mate the wiring harnes plug. (sylvania high output9005 and 9006 bulbs???????)
    mods:
-under hood ram air hood mod.
-cat back Flowmaster American Thunder exhaust system (exact kit designed for our cars)
-Sylvania Silverstar Headlamp conversion (home job...but came out awesome)
-interior under dash neons
