i got this car a few months back and really havent drivin it that much. I took it out the other day on an open country road wanting to see what it could do. And as soon as it hit 114 it was like it was on cruse control at that speed. how can i take the speed limiter off, or could my mechanic do it? thanks

you'll need a tuner, HPTuners and DHP are your options, both are costly. Or you could do a mail-order tune thru Texas Speed or various others.

My car limits at 110. What speed would it be able to get up to without the limiter? It went up to 110 and the revs went down while i was holding the gas.Comment

my speed limiter is at 150, thanks to HP tuners. I just set it out there so I wouldn't need to worry about it, not like I would get that fast anyways.
Jet scu will remove the top speed limiter for our cars too.
What year and engine do you have though, all these ways might actually not work if you are using a 3.4l fbodyComment
