  • New on the site!

Hello, I'm new to the 3800 v6 modifications. Im not looking to throw down some serious numbers but I would like a little more pep in the step if you know what I mean. I'm looking to do the followin mods.

Intake & Full exhaust (headers, cat-back, 2.5'' all the way back)
    Stage II Computer Chip
Minor Port & Polishing on the heads.

Not looking for the more hp but whats the minimum/max gain outta this hp/trq wise I'm thinking around 30-45hp/trq?

Gears and Posi is the better way to go then, cool. No chip either. Its not really that im new to the v6 mods its more that im new to RWD car mods.

          warren eh...i'm in lansing...

I'd start w/ the basic Intake and Exhaust (CAI, headers, cat, cat-back) and like mentioned above, gears are good...

          then go from there...

mine 2000 is an M5. I'm getting the LSD done this Summer. 3.73 gears on a daily driver. I'll have to add that to my list.

If you want to mess withe the computer then get a Hypertech programmer which will benifit you more than a chip will cuz chips alone are garbage.

that is false and you should be beaten for recommending that. Everyone here knows the hypertech is junk as well and the only true way to tune your car is with hptuners, mail order, or DHP if you have a 3800.
