I don't know what the problem is. My air filter is fine. Sombody please help!! I wanted to cry today!! P.S. My horn sounds different too- like a wimpy civic beeb instead of a firebird HONK. WTF is wrong with my car.!!!!????

If anyone on this board could help you out with the information you're given, they'd be very rich by now b/c basically there is no way we could possibly know whats wrong with the car unless you give many more details. First of all, make sure it's not stuck in 1st and the E-brake isn't pulled up...

(Not flaming, just need many more details to help)

Probably have a loose or disconnected spark plug wire. Got a flashing SES light (96+)?

a little more information might help...how's idle? is there any fluid burning/leaking?

check for a vacuum leak...if not that check for any kind of fluid escaping from a gasket.

Sounds like the battery or alternator (or both). Low voltage will affect the sound of the horn, and would cause a weak spark.

A quick way to see, is check the brightness of the headlights with the heater blower and the brake lights on... You may be able to tell a difference in the light output from normal. (or just get it tested at an Autozone or similar place.)

if you say the horn sounds weird too it's your alternator. Check that and then replace your battery. It's one of the two, if not both.

TEll me when you floor it from a stand still it will just hang at like 2,500rpms and bog and accelerate REAL SLOW. Been there...done that. Bad alternator.
