I hope this is not out of line to ask in this forum. I have a 97 bird and my wife has a 2002 Grand Prix with 32,000 miles on it and we are thinking about geting an extended warranty on it for $1,500 bucks. I don't want to have to pay for work on both cars as my bird is getting up there in age. So my question is would this warranty be worth it ( it's a 3yr. 36000)
Thanks
yes, i used to work at a dodge dealership and trust me extended warranties are definitely worth the costs. espically for a GM car i would buy it. you figure if 2 major things go wrong in 3 years then it has paid for itself. but one recommendation is that right before it runs out you either blow up your tranny or engine. its a great way to get a new one for free yes i have seen ppl do this.
1987 Buick Grand National drivetrain in my 1993 Pontiac Firebird. PT53 turbo, 212/212 comp cam, 3400 lockup converter, stock heads, Precision bar & plate FMIC with 3\" piping, 1994 z28 rearend, hotwired walbro 255 fuel pump, Nitto drag radials
I would get the extended warranty, some of the electroincs are very expensive to replace. p.s remember that what goes around comes around, honesty is always the best policy.
Hey everyone! I've been trying to remove my transmission for two days now! I need to replace the clutch. Only thing I've got left holding the transmission...
