Re: oil change
I buy the cheapest oil I can find. Walmart brand usually. I change every 5-7K miles or whenever I think about it. I've got 134K on the clock and not 1 single problem. As long as you change the oil, use whatever you want.1995 Camaro 3.4L A4
Check out my other ride. www.sounddomain.com/ride/820732

Re: oil change
Last summer I put synthetic oil in my car (120K miles)...
Changed it after 3,000 miles w/ some more synthetic, and 2,000 miles later I delevoped an oil leak...
not sure if the two go together, but I'm switching back to non syn...my car must have to many miles1999 Camaro Z/28

Re: oil change
I have used nothing but Castrol Syntec since 36,000 miles, and top filters like Mobil 1. I now have 211,000+ miles. "Do the math."Robert - owner www.FirebirdV6.com/CamaroV6.com

Re: oil change
I would never use a fram filter again. I had some work done to my car and it irritates the bejeezus out of me knowing a fram filter is sitting on it. I ran either A/C delco or Mobil one on my fiero religiously. I switched only once to a fram filter and it spun a bearing. Maybe it had something to do with it maybe not. I do know we cut one apart and compared it to an ac delco and there was so much cardboard in the fram filter it was pathetic.
