    hey guys, when i did my back ones i used a 3/8" swivel sockit, a 1 1/2" extention took alittle bit of work and i had to hold the extention and i got a little bit burned in the process ( i was stupid and didn't let the motor cool ) but i got it out yes the plugs are a pain in the ***. :cry:

      Are the firebird pacesetter headers different than the camaros? I have a '96 Camaro and although I had enough clearance on the left (driver) side, the 2nd plug on the right side is blocked by one of the pipes.

        x2. You can get all six from the top. The first time I did it it took me about 45 minutes, I'm quite sure I can get that time down the second time. You probably need a longer extension than that 3". Just suck it up and do it. Pain is just weakness leaving the body!

            get a long-handled 1/4in drive, and a 4-6 extender. you should be able to crank those plugs off no prob. I'm 5'9" 145 and had the guns to do it... LOL
