I'm going to be getting new plugs and wires for the first time but have a little question. The NGK replacement for my 95 3.4 is the UR5. Every one talks about the TR55 though and I noticed that's the replacement plug for the 3.8. Now should I just get the UR5 and call it done because it comes gapped at .45 or get the TR55's and gap them down from the .60 they come at? Is there any difference besides the gap?

Re: Quick NGK question
The tr55's are copper plugs. You can get the NGK's TR55IX that is the iridium version of the TR55. However, I would not recommend re-gapping an iridium plug though.My old car.<br />2000 Firedird 5-Speed<br />1/4 E.T. 15.601 @ 88.659 w/2.411 60\'<br /><br />New car.<br />1999 T/A 6-Speed<br />1/4 E.T. 13.181 @ 106.971 w/2.15 60\'

Re: Quick NGK question
I use the NGK Iridiums and I think they are great plugs. Before I was using the Bosch plust 4's but then heard that the prongs are proned to heating up and breaking off into the engine. So I quickly changed out for the NGK's.01\'Y87 Firebird:Gt1 cam,Vig.3000 stall
