I recently just did the PVC pipe + 3" Rubber coupling for the air intake + the free ram air (2000 3.8 camaro). Lately it seems that my car is shifting at higher RPMs (I have the A4) and it feels like it is extremely slow on the bottom end. Any idea what could be causing this? Also recently my SES light came on and threw 2 codes, both for the Catalytic converter being inefficient... could this be causing this?

Re: Accel. problems?
Is the Catco Cat basically the same as a stock cat or no? I was told by a mechanic at the exhaust shop I go to that all cat's are considered "High Flow" and there is no difference between them. I'm also thinking about putting the dynomax bullet there instead of the cat but I will prolly have emissions problems... but would sound good with a 3" cutout and straight pipes...blah shoulda posted in the exhaust forum

Re: Accel. problems?
get a carsound cat instead of catco, catco's have had a history of problems on our cars. Do you have emission testing in Illinois?
