I just want to get some heads up before I get my hopes after I replace my tranny mount tomorrow. I pulled out of my street the other day and got on it for the heck of it when I feel like something like hit the bottom of my car. So I was like what the heck was that. I let my friends dad ride with me and I did the same thing. He told me to jack the car up and then push on the tranny mount. And when I did i could push up on it. So I bought a solid tranny mount from auto zone. And I wanted to know if that was the cause of the tranny hitting the bottom of the car? The mount has never been replaced...and I just got a new clutch back in November and they flushed the tranny when they replaced the clutch and my motor mounts are fine. And I just replaced the rear shocks last weekend to solve my wheel hopping. And is the solid mount better than the stock replacement? Thanks

Re: weird noise
yes the tranny mounts on our cars do blow out, and it would cause the trans to bang and make noise under the car under torque and shifts.
Did you get an Energy Suspension mount from autozone?

Re: weird noise
If it is an energy suspension one it will work, you just need to add some washers to lift it up a bit as the height is a bit different and possibly drill one of the holes a bit bigger
