my oil drain plug is leaking ever so slighty, every now and then i find a couple of drops of oil by the drain plug. would wrapping teflon tape around the threads stop the leak. any help would be appreciated.

I would not use teflon tape just in case the tape breaks down becasue then it will get into your oil. Just buy a new drain plug, which comes with a new gasket.
