I found out that my #1 injector is crap, and if I can get my battery fully charged, can test harness current to see if I have the proper resistor to energize the injectors. I got it along w/the Sensor Probe CP9085 which helped out a lot when I had probs w/the 3.4 & the TPS.

Will the injector tester "cycle" the injector, also will it work on 3.8's & LS1's.I've seen some cars that some of these testers will not work on , thats the reason I ask .Deffinately intersested, like you said its almost a must tool for an above ave. DIY'er.Any info appreciated ,good post!
On my "3800 ", it will work. It has adaptors for teh Bosche style injectors (2wire).
& w/the energize button hit, you can hear the injector fire about 3~4 times before it cuts off. The #1 injector just sat there,......dead :( . Harness testing is just as easy, as it plugs into the plug going towards the injector & checks to see if its getting power. still working on that part

Good deal, I'm getting both! Those "noid" lights are just about as much $ & they can't check cycling of the injector's pulses.Used it in automotive repair tech school,& the injector tester is invaluable,it can also indicate if your fuel pump check valve is bad.Just hope the sensor probe will work on many types of current MAF's,ie. Ford ,GM's etc.Thanx again for the reply,I think many others should consider getting 'em.
Don't try ordering the fuel inj.or sensor tester ,ordered mine 3/27 & got e-mail 3/29 that they're sold out.Any ideas where to get the fuel injector tester reasonbly?
