I went to change the oil on my 3.4 Camaro today and decided not to because of the huge bubble of rust on the drain pan. I poked it and its very tender...I feel like if I poke hard enough my finger might go through, thus creating a big mess. I don't want this to happen while driving either. Is there anyway to patch the oil pan without removing/replacing it (as I've heard this can be a tricky job)?

Re: oil pan rust
If you dont want to change then pan then clean the grease off of it, scuff it up with some sand paper, and patch it up with some epoxy putty or JB Weld.Representin' Team Red In The North
