I bought my car used and I've tried to search but couldnt find any answers. I want to know how to find what gears and package my car came with. Where would I be able to find this?

main thing is check the rpo codes in the glove box. look for these codes
Y87 Its a v6 perofrmance package comes with lsd, 3.42s, dual exhaust, and a z28 steering rack.
Or look for these codes
G80 = Limited Slip diff
GU4 = 3.08s
GU5 = 3.23s(only 5-speeds and 3.4L cars have these)
GU6 = 3.42s -
On the drivers side door is a bunch of 3 letter codes. IE AAA AH3 AK5 AR9 .....
Write all these down. Easiest way to tell is to look at the rear of your car. If you don't have aftermarket exhaust on it and it has dual stock exhaust it has the 3.42s.Comment
