  • need help figuring out what part i busted.

I was taking off my drivers side exhaust manifold and snapped off a sensor of sorts that is mounted on the oil filter adapter. It appeared to have some sort of insulation covering the sensor/connector. I took pics but left my camera in the garage that i'm doing my install in. If anybody has any ideas as to what this is and where i could get one...like yesterday...any help would be appreciated.

I have a 3.8l but I bet you busted a oil pressure sensor, if so autozone would have one in stock, or any other parts store in your area.

It's called the oil sending unit. It send the oil pressure data to the gauge.
