i dont know if this will turn out the way i want it to sound but any way when i go to start the car it does not want to start. somthing is spinning (kind of sounds like a toy race car) i think it might be the starter but i thot that is if it was the starter that car would not start cuz after a few times it will start.

Starter may not be engaging correctly. Best thing you can do there is take it off and have it tested if you sispect it.

What is happening,is the Starter Motor turning but the gear not locking to go out to the Flywheel/Flexplate,you can get someone that knows what they are doing to change the part otherwise buy a new Starter as someone said earlier.

someone told me it could be the flywheel too tho so how can i tell the diff

just replace the starter... its gonna need replaced eventually. If that doesn't fix the problem then you can move on to the next.

you can tell by inspecting the fly wheel when you replace the starter.

In able for the Flywheel to give such a problem some of the teeth from the Flywheel would have gone,therefore you would get a grating noise when the Starter gear try to engage with the flywheel.Besides the Gear on the Last longer than the car LOL.
