the 3.4s do not require a special bleed procedure, the radiator fill port is higher than the highest coolant section on the motor. its all dependant on the radiator cap.
foggy headlights? wetsand... buff... WAX!!! if nissan motorsports is nismo does that mean honda motorsports is homo?
Too bad I didn't come here 4 days ago when I changed my pump! You don't actually need a pulley puller. You can unbolt the entire power steering pump bracket and move it out of the way.
When I was flushing my system, to get all of the air out I ran the engine with the radiator cap off and filled it as it was necessary. Don't forget about the overflow tank either. Hope that helps!
That little seep hole that was bleeding coolant is there to tell you when you need a new water pump. I know im a little late but I had the same problem and my mechanic knew what it was right away.
i thought it was a lot easier to pull the pulley than try to get the bracket off the back of the pumo. that was near impossible to get at.
yeah, radiator caps definitely the best way to "bleed" it.
Puller was probably easier. The annoying thing is the tough to reach bolt isn't even necessary, lol. Either way you got it done, so that's good. No leaks?
Haha, yea most people do have 3.8's. That is where I chill most of the time. njfboa.org is alright, but they hang out at the Grease Trucks on Wednesday nights. I meandered over there once by accident. There were some SS's and Z28s, but no other 6's. I felt alone. :(
