I got a 2001 Camaro with Pacesetter Headers. I was able to change all the spark plugs with no problems except for the #4 cylinder (due to the headers) anyone has any pointers on the best way to remove and install a new plug??

Re: Cylinder 4 spark plug replacing
I have searched! There is enough room to place the socket on, but not enough room for the rachet. I have tried through the top and below.2001 JET BLACK V6 CAMARO

-Powerdyne Supercharger, Pacesetter Headers, Transgo Shift Kit, and a whole lot more.

http://groups.msn.com/SPEEDSTYLEandPERFORMANCE
http://www.cardomain.com/id/camarostallion

Re: Cylinder 4 spark plug replacing
You wonder what the designer was thinking knowing that this would be a super problem, but then you look at the next
Camaro as ugly as it is and you wonder what they are drinking
in Detroit. By the time the new one comes out gas will be $4.50
for regular.Phil

searching would have revealed to use an open end wrench on the socket

Granted they could have made our cars more user "friendly" but what's glory would it be if it's easy? If you want easy go buy a Honda where you plugs are right there...if you can change the plugs on f-bodies, you basically can do anything.
