I got a 2001 Camaro with Pacesetter Headers. I was able to change all the spark plugs with no problems except for the #4 cylinder (due to the headers) anyone has any pointers on the best way to remove and install a new plug??

What is the problem? Not enough clearance?

I have searched! There is enough room to place the socket on, but not enough room for the rachet. I have tried through the top and below.

That's what I figured...since there is only enough roo, for the socket, just get an opened ended wrench...I think it's 18mm and use it to turn the socket. The spark plug socket should be hexed at the end.

You wonder what the designer was thinking knowing that this would be a super problem, but then you look at the next
Camaro as ugly as it is and you wonder what they are drinking
in Detroit. By the time the new one comes out gas will be $4.50
              for regular.

searching would have revealed to use an open end wrench on the socket

What's up the negativity? We all should rejoice there's another Camaro even coming out. So what gas might be $4.50 a gallon? I won't keep me from laying down two hellified black strips!

Granted they could have made our cars more user "friendly" but what's glory would it be if it's easy? If you want easy go buy a Honda where you plugs are right there...if you can change the plugs on f-bodies, you basically can do anything.

It's true...if you had pre-2000 f-body with stock manifolds with 3.8s, changing plugs takes an act of God almost.
