Oil pressure questions..

Whats yalls normal oil pressure level at? Mine usually fluctuates between 40-60..

Today i had less than a quarter tank of gas, i put $30 in and when i cranked up the oil pressure was right around 32-35 and the SES light came on.

I didnt notice anything unusual, if anything the car actually idled SMOOTHER after i filled up. If the light stays on tomorrow after school ill get it checked out. The autozone guys must be gettin pissed haha, i go in there about every 3 weeks asking for a scan

oil pressure sounds fine. anything lower than 30, I might become concerned personally, professionally, you can go way way down. you only need pressure in the high single digits/ low teens to properly lubricate according to gm :\

Ok.. just started up the car again and now it shakes at idle...

general requirements call for 5psi per 1000rpm... so ive been told by several reputable sources.
mine was 60-70 when cold, 40-50 when hot. after my oil leak problem and several times of running with the 'low oil' light on it is now 40-50 cold, 30-40 hot. dont let her run low.
shakes at idle could be one of many problems. more than likely not related to oil pressure.

in my 3.4 my oil pressure drops to about 30 but only sometimes and is usually at 40-60, 80 when the engine is cold. But it doesnt seem to do any harm at 30. I think running 5w30 helps alittle bit with that. So i think im gunna run 10w30 from now on.

I generally run between 50-80, depending on the oil additive i use...
