I was experiencing a high idle for the past couple of weeks. Thoght it might be due to gunk in the intake manifold or MAF. Now the car dies when the RPMS drop below 1000. It seems like it tries a couple of times to bring them back up and then it dies. The car runs fine if i keep the RPMS up but this makes it undrivable. Any ideas?? There is white residue on the water pump pulley but the belt looks fine.
