I noticed the firebird's is lower... but I think the Nissan is a much lighter car... tell me about this please.

The nissan engine is meant for higher RPMs, built with a higher compression ratio and therefore more power at a higher RPM. Most imports are built lighter than american cars...the car is smaller and built with lighter materials.

Those nissans as nice little cars, just wish they didn't have such saggy butts.
2001 Camaro A4. Magnaflow Exhaust, High flow Airbox/K&N, Painted Calipers, American racing TT2\'s, Alpine/JL system w/ custom box, custom interior, custom paint, 3.42\'s. A very nice ride
by design, our motors are supposed to make more low-end power. our heads are 2 valve, reducing higher rpm airflow. the nissan are 4 valve, allowing better breathing in higher rpm's. the nissan also has higher compression, producing more hp.
also, the nissan gearbox has no overdrive gears in it, so each gear is a "power" gear. it will pull solidly in every gear it has.
2001 Arctic White Firebird<br />More mods than I\'m allowed to list!
Wow... looks like I have me another dream car to consider.

Doubt it. Most of the time they are slower then 14.4 lol alot slower. Roomates vette only runs a 14.3 and he can walk them like they are nothing on the street.

yeah, they r slow. i never got the chance to race my old bosses 350z but he raced a girl's 98' firebird at my old work and barely walked her. and i raced her and left her in my dust. he drove me around one time and i was only impressed once we hit 100 and keep pulling strong
V6 fbodies can NA put 250ish to the ground with MAYBE $2,000, and that's if you don't do the work yourself. The 350Z is overrated, and overpriced, and they still weigh 3200lbs with the manual transmission.
I'm not too impressed with them as a "sports car". I would love to have it's cousin the infiniti g35 coupe (AKA Skyline in Japan). Seats more people and looks way nicer.
Dream about a Corvette or an Fbody of some sort, those are good dream cars...lol.

Hey everyone! I've been trying to remove my transmission for two days now! I need to replace the clutch. Only thing I've got left holding the transmission...
